1. Silvia Tcherassi

She ventured into fashion design in 1990 with her company Altamoda, and since then has launched bold and colorful collections that have reached major showcases in the industry, such as the fashion weeks in Milan, New York, and Paris. Many great stars have worn her designs, making Colombians proud! Among them are Valeria Mazza, Claudia Schiffer, Shakira, and Gloria Estefan, who have highlighted their beauty through perfectly crafted garments.

2. Amelia Toro

She studied fashion design at the Rhode Island School in New York. Her collections are characterized by the use of traditional fabrics and colors from Colombia's indigenous populations. Some of the most notable are the Wayúu textiles, which feature shapes, colors, and designs that refer to animals and nature in Colombia. Her designs are sold successfully in Mexico, the United States, Chile, the United Kingdom, Costa Rica, and Panama.

3. Hernán Zajar

His avant-garde designs are characterized by the presence of multiple colors and the use of materials and techniques from his native Mompox, such as filigree, in his garments and accessories. This municipality in Colombia is known for its colonial architecture, color, and traditions that remain alive. Zajar has dressed candidates for the National Beauty Contest and personalities such as Jennifer López, Ivanka Trump, Claudia Schiffer, and Joan Collins.

4. Haider Ackermann

This Colombian-French designer stands out among fashion designers for his urban style, with asymmetrical cuts and a mix of fabrics in various materials to create feminine and sophisticated silhouettes. Considered by many as "the prince of fashion," Haider Ackerman has dressed major figures from the entertainment world such as Tilda Swinton, Victoria Beckham, Penélope Cruz, and Janet Jackson. His style reflects a more minimalist side that shows that even with little color, Colombians are full of joy, flavor, and identity.
