Colombia offers a variety of exportable products and services, both traditional and non-traditional that contribute to the increase in foreign trade.
The main export markets are: the European Union, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, China and Paraguay.

- The main exports in 2012 were fuels, mineral oils and derived products (13.5%). These contributed with 9,8 percentage points to the total variation of the country.
-In the first half of 2012, according to statistics and research conducted by DANE (National Statistics Office) and DIAN (National Tax and Customs Office), exports from Colombian fuel and extractive industries increased 11.7% for a total of US$ 20,4 billion.
-The exports to the United States that generated the most external sales in the first half of 2012 were fine pearls, precious metals and stones, live plants and floriculture products, which registered a rise of 40% for a total of U $130,2 million.
-The export of dairy products from Colombia to the USA registered a rise of 472% over the first 45 days of the FTA between both countries entering into effect.
-Exports of sugar and confectionery products to Ecuador rose 83,7%.
