The llanero culture is lived in this region where the work is full of great stories and feats. They make horseback riding tours or ecological walks where you learn about the work of the peasant in the plains. In addition, their intense relationship with nature and livestock has inspired their music that always describes their landscapes, herds, farms, rivers and experiences.
Speaking of music, the joropo is introduced in the teaching process of the children, that is why, until today, its traditions such as the interpretation of the bandola, musical instrument and symbol of the department, remain firm.
