Juanita Escobar is a self-taught Colombian photographer dedicated to capturing the lives of Colombian cowboys through her photographic work. Her documentary photography approach focuses on the human landscape, exploring emotions and identities within inhabited geographic contexts. Escobar has received international recognition, including the Premio Nacional Colombo-Suizo de Fotografía in 2009, and has been selected to participate in events such as the Masterclass Latinoamérica in Mexico in 2015 and the JoopSwart Masterclass by World Press Photo in 2017. Her book "Llano" has been published in digital media such as National Geographic and Time Magazine, and has been recognized for its ability to convey the essence of the plains through its images. Fernanda Pineda: the photographer and filmmaker who narrates memory and territory in Latin America
Fernanda Pineda is a Colombian photographer and filmmaker whose work focuses on the visual storytelling of social, cultural, and environmental stories in Latin America.
