One of the characteristic fairs of the country, the Manizales Fair, cultural heritage of the nation, is held annually in the second week of January and is recognized worldwide for its bullfights, parades, exhibitions, International Coffee Reign and for highlighting the folklore of Caldas with pasodobles and requintos.
In Manizales art is experienced every year thanks to the Manizales International Theater Festival, the oldest in the continent and one of the most important, created in 1968, where important national theater and dance companies from all over the world perform. Also, Manizales Grita Rock: This is the name of the third most important festival of this genre in the country with important presentations such as 1280 Almas, Death Angel and Dub Killer Combo.
